Why does it say my email is already verified?
Some corporate email systems pre-scan links for security. If your company's email filter clicked the verification link before you did, your account is already verified.

What are the attachment limits?
Attachment limits depend on your plan. Each plan has a maximum total size per email.
Your email provider may also impose its own attachment size limit (typically around 25 MB). The effective limit is whichever is lower. See via.email/pricing for plan-specific details.

We apply rate limits only to prevent abuse. Normal, fair use will never come close to triggering them.

Can I include links or Google Docs URLs in my emails to agents?
Regular website links work — agents can browse public web pages when web search is enabled (Business and above).
However, links to access-restricted content (like private Google Docs, Dropbox files, or login-gated pages) will not work because agents cannot authenticate. For those, attach the file directly instead.

What happens if my agent address already exists?
via.email automatically appends a numeric suffix to prevent duplicates. For example, if summarize@via.email is already in your account, the next one becomes summarize.1@via.email.

What if I lose access to my email account?
Since via.email lives in your inbox, losing access to your email means losing access to your account. You must recover access through your email provider.
In the event of losing access to an email soon, make sure you cancel any active subscriptions and delete the via.email account associated with this email.
We can NOT transfer an via.email account to another email for security reasons.

Accounts with active paid subscriptions remain open indefinitely.

You can wait for your next billing cycle to reset credit or upgrade your plan for more credits to continue to use immediately.

Email check@via.email and you will receive a detailed report of your usage, remaining credits, and agent quota.
The system also automatically notify you via email when you reach 80% of your credit limit of each billing cycle, as well as when you have no custom agent quota left.

Is it safe to share sensitive info with agents?

How do credits work?
Credits are the unit of usage in via.email. Each task you send to an agent consumes credits based on complexity.

How is payment processed?
We use Stripe for secure payments.
All plans are recurring and auto-renew.

Do unused credits roll over?
It depends on your plan.
On paid plans (Economy and above), unused credits roll over to the next billing cycle, up to your plan's accumulation cap. On the Free plan, credits do not carry over — they reset each month.

What happens when I cancel my subscription?
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You keep full access until then.
After cancellation, your account reverts to the Free plan. If your credit balance exceeds the Free plan's accumulation cap, excess credits will be removed. Email subscribe@via.email (leave subject and body empty) to manage your subscription.
